The Future of Privy and Email
Today I’m here to tell you that we don’t just love email at Privy, we REALLY LOVE EMAIL.
Over the past few years, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of merchants build tens of millions of email relationships with their customers.
Today we’re really excited to give you a sneak peek at the future of Privy—combining the power of on-site displays with email marketing, all under one roof—making it easier than ever before for small and medium sized merchants to convert traffic, drive sales and reduce cart abandonment.
Later this month, you’ll be able to send newsletters and announcements to ALL of your contacts in Privy using our drag and drop email editor. You’ll also be able to send these emails from your domain, not ours.
These are things that tons of our merchants have been asking for for a long time and we’re pumped to make them a reality. But we’re not stopping here.
In the coming weeks, we’ll also be expanding our automated email capabilities. You’ll be able to set up welcome series, coupon reminders and yes, even cart abandonment emails all from inside Privy.
We’ll be taking a new approach to identifying abandonment and dynamic segments that uses the powerful combination of on-site displays, cookie to email matching, and automated emails.
